Crystal Yragui (she/her/hers)

Co-Interim Head, Metadata and Cataloging Initiatives Unit
University of Washington Libraries

Crystal Yragui is the Metadata Librarian and Co-Interim Head of the Metadata and Cataloging Initiatives Unit at the University of Washington Libraries in Seattle, Washington. She has worked as a cataloger for ten years, and graduated with an M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington. As Chair of the Orbis Cascade Alliance Cataloging Standing Committee, she led the initiation of the consortium’s ongoing Homosaurus Implementation Project last year. She recently contributed to the Queer Metadata Collective’s Best Practices for Queer Metadata and is a member of the Wikidata WikiProject Personal Pronouns.
