Mustafa Kandil (he/him/his)

PhD Student
University of Pittsburgh

Mustafa Kandil is a PhD student in the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Mustafa holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Hacettepe University, Turkey, and a master’s degree in Museum and Exhibition Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His research interests lie at the intersection of digital humanities and cultural heritage, with a specific focus on intangible cultural heritage, including its preservation, documentation, and transmission.
