Jennifer Weston (she/her/hers)

Product and Education Manager
Equinox Open Library Initiative

Jennifer Weston (MLIS). Product and Education Manager at the Equinox Open Library Initiative, came to Equinox with a strong background as a technical services manager with ten years of experience in libraries in North Carolina and more than twenty years of project management experience. Thriving on variety and the spirit of collaboration, she has served in an assortment of library leadership roles in public and technical services, consortium interest groups, and community outreach. Prior to her library career, Jennifer worked in the corporate and public sectors as a technical project manager.

From her first Evergreen conference, Jennifer was hooked on the possibilities of open source technology for libraries and inspired by the communities working to make things happen. Since then, she has become a regular contributor to these communities, including serving as the facilitator of the Evergreen Cataloging Working Group. Jennifer received her MLIS from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In her spare time, Jennifer and her husband spend as much time as possible in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
