Aaron Espinosa is the Director of the Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory and Executive Director of the Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory Foundation, where he leads innovative programs that inspire learning and community engagement. He also serves as Executive Director of the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival, a premier literary event attracting renowned authors and readers nationwide.
As the City Liaison for the Rancho Mirage Cultural Commission, Aaron works to enhance cultural programming and public engagement, strengthening the city’s reputation as a center for arts and literature.
Recognized for his contributions to the library profession, Aaron was named 2024 California Library Association Member of the Year, highlighting his dedication to accessibility, advocacy, and the vital role of libraries.
With expertise in finance, human resources, and public service, Aaron brings a strategic and community-focused approach to leadership. His passion for libraries and literature drives his mission to create inclusive spaces that foster curiosity, connection, and discovery.
