Yating Zhu is a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction, Morgridge College of Education, at the University of Denver. She received her master’s degree in foreign language education from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on the Chinese diaspora, specifically exploring identity issues and the engagement of Chinese-speaking patrons with public libraries in the U.S.
